"I had given two sets of brand new curtains to the Mr. Blue (Sector 104) outlet for their premium drycleaning service under Invoice No. 024 dated 13 October 2025. The curtains were being cleaned for the first time, and their high value and delicate nature were clearly communicated to the staff. The experience and outcome were highly disappointing and have resulted in financial and functional loss: One curtain from the drawing-room set was torn during the process. The store acknowledged this and shared a photograph of the damage. The remaining three curtains from the same set were also returned stained, torn at the bottom, and re-stitched, and the curtain weights appeared to have been removed. This indicates that the curtains were likely washed in a regular machine, rather than being dry-cleaned as promised and paid for. The store initially assured resolution within a few days, including the possibility of replacement or insurance-based compensation. However, there has been no follow-through or written update, despite multiple reminders. The store has now directed me to follow up directly with the head office, without providing a timeline or a responsible point of contact, which has made the resolution process unclear and prolonged. This situation has caused financial loss (curtains valued at approx. ₹35,000) and inconvenience, including disruption to planned family gatherings during Diwali. I am still open to a fair and amicable resolution. However, in the absence of the same, I am now proceeding with a Consumer Court complaint under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019."
